About The Artist

Welcome to my page. My artist name is Lunatic Wave. I am a 26-year-old Mexican-Amercian self-taught artist and sculptor based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I primarily work with clay, gouache paint, and canvas. The color palettes used in my work are vivid and sometimes contradicting, which I find my inspiration comes from living in a city full of life, energy and culture in the middle of an empty scorching desert. I gather components and ideas for pieces from the experiences I have as young Mexican woman navigating through this lifetime with a cancer diagnosis. Art is the best tool to begin your self-healing journey and I hope whoever is reading this uses art to liberate themselves and others.
